Activation queue

What does each partner on an open deal need next?

The activation queue is every partner on an open deal, grouped by what its pursuit needs next. A pursuit is one partner on one deal. Your workspace may use its own word for this; see Settings, Terminology.

Open Activation, Activation queue.

The groups

Each group has a heading and the next action:

  • Gone from the CRM (or Closed or gone from the CRM when your import holds open deals only): the deal is no longer in your latest import. Record the outcome, move the history to another deal, or retire the deal.
  • Past close date, no outcome: record the outcome.
  • Not started: nothing recorded yet. Record the first pursuit stage.
  • Ready for the next stage: the last stage went well. Record the next one.
  • Awaiting the partner: follow up.
  • Stalled: re-engage.
  • Closed out: recorded as not going ahead. Nothing to do; shown as a line with its count and amount.

Open deals only: not closed in your CRM and with no outcome recorded. Each card shows the number of pursuits and the deal amount open on them, one line per currency when there is more than one.

Acting on a row

Each row opens the deal. On the row itself:

  • Draft a message writes a short note to the partner or the rep for the next action, from the deal and its last activities. Nothing is sent from Triad.
  • On a gone deal, Move the history moves what was recorded to another deal, and Retire the deal takes it out of the queue.

Days since recorded count from the last time anyone recorded a pursuit stage for that pursuit.

Filters

Target list, partner, deal owner and region. Each card opens its group alone; Show every group goes back to all of them.

FAQ

Why is a deal I closed still here?

Close it in your CRM and import again, or record the outcome on the deal.

What does Move the history do?

It moves the recorded stages and notes to the deal you pick, usually the same deal under a new CRM id.
