Pursuit stages

Where do my open deals stand with their partners right now?

The pursuit stages page shows where your open deals stand, by the furthest-along pursuit on each, and the same for each active partner. A pursuit is one partner on one deal. Your workspace may use its own word for this; see Settings, Terminology.

Open Activation, Pursuit stages. Pursuit stages are not the partnership lifecycle on a partner's page; that is a different set of stages about the partnership itself.

Open deals by stage

Each open deal with a partner on it is counted once, at the stage of its furthest-along pursuit. Furthest along is the pursuit recorded at the latest stage in order; between two at the same stage, the one recorded there most recently. Not started is a deal where nothing has been recorded for any partner. The deal amount is shown beside each count, one line per currency when there is more than one.

Open means not closed in your CRM and with no outcome recorded.

By partner

For each active partner, where that partner's own pursuit sits on each of its open deals. A deal with two partners counts under both, so this table adds up to more than the one above.

Delivery and services

For each active partner, one per deal it is on:

  • Delivery counts its open deals by what the partner expects to deliver. Not asked is a deal where nobody has recorded it.
  • Services counts its deals, open or closed, by who won the services, with the amount in each currency. Not recorded is a deal where nobody has recorded it.

Every figure opens the deals it counted, in the pursuit list.

FAQ

Why does this page not draft anything?

It is a count table. The work happens on each deal it opens.

A retracted stage still shows. Why?

A retracted event never counts. Reload the page; if it persists, open the deal and check its history.
