What Triad does from a reply
The few things Triad will do when you ask in a reply, and the things it leaves to you in the app
What Triad does from a reply
Triad records everything you tell it in a reply. It changes your records only in a few ways, and only when you ask.
What Triad does when you ask
- Close a next step. "Done with Jo, not worth it" or "close the Priya step" marks that open next step done.
- Snooze a chase. "Snooze this to Friday" moves a chase Triad sent you to a later day.
- Send a draft. When Triad sends you a draft in a thread, replying "send it" sends that draft. Triad only ever sends the draft it placed in that thread, never text you typed.
What Triad suggests and you accept
Some statements change a deal, so Triad suggests the change instead of making it:
- "This is the SCY deal, not SCX" suggests renaming the deal.
- "We lost this one to Vantor, Brightline was helping" suggests marking the deal closed lost, with the reason and the partner's part in it.
Each suggestion appears on the deal's page with one button to accept and one to dismiss. Triad also lists them in the thread, numbered: reply "yes 1" to accept the first, or "yes 1 and 2" for both. A deal name that comes from your CRM cannot be changed in Triad; change it in your CRM and import again.
What Triad will not do from a reply
Triad does not change a pursuit stage, delete or merge anything, edit a partner, or rename or close a deal without your accept. Ask for one of these and Triad replies with what it can do, and nothing changes. You can do all of them in the app.
When Triad asks you something
When you say several people know someone but name no one, Triad asks "Who else on the team knows Olek Brandt?" Reply with the names and it records them, so the next brief stops saying that person is known through one person.
