The pre-meeting brief
The email Triad sends the afternoon before a partner meeting, and how to answer it
The pre-meeting brief
The afternoon before a partner meeting, Triad sends one short email to prepare you for it. It arrives around 15:00 in your workspace's time zone.
Which meetings get one
Triad reads the meetings your weekly digest lists in its Coverage block under "Next partner meetings on the calendar". Each partner meeting dated tomorrow gets a brief. Two meetings with the same partner on the same day share one brief, and a meeting never gets a second one.
Who receives it
The brief goes to the person the digest names for that meeting, when they are a member of your workspace. Otherwise it goes to the member who sent the digest.
What it says
Three short sections:
- What to know. The open next steps on both sides, the latest activity with the partner, the deals that moved recently, and any urgent news, each news item linked to its signal in Triad.
- Talking points. What the people you are meeting said last, as Triad has it on record.
- Next moves. What to settle in the meeting.
Every fact comes from what is recorded in Triad. A brief never asks you anything.
Answering it
Reply to the brief the way you reply to the Monday brief. Triad reads your reply against it, records what you say on the partner, and answers in the same thread.
