Projects (implementations)
Track post-sale execution and delivery health, with your own independent view
Projects (called implementations in the data model) track the execution work that follows a deal — services delivery, integrations, joint go-to-market, and co-marketing. Crucially, the health you record here is your independent view, separate from PS or Salesforce status.
The projects list
Open Projects in the sidebar (subheading: "Execution workstreams with deal context and health"). Columns are Project name, Type, Scope (an account, "N accounts", or a segment), Partner, Opportunity (with deal amount, or "No deal linked"), Phase, Health, and Go-live target. Filters cover Type, Health status (On Track, Watch, At Risk, Escalated, Complete), and Phase. Dashboard links can pre-filter, e.g. to at-risk projects.
Create a project
Click New project (/implementations/new). Pick the Type first — the rest of the form adapts to it:
- Services delivery — partner and account required; optional opportunity; shows phase, execution model, pricing model, and go-live dates
- Integration — same shape as services delivery
- Joint GTM — partner required; multiple accounts in scope, an optional target segment, and linked opportunities
- Co-marketing — same shape as Joint GTM
- Other — requires a custom type label
Common fields include Project name (required), Our health assessment (On Track, Watch, At Risk, Escalated, Complete — "Triad's independent view, separate from PS or SFDC status"), Project scope, Project amount, Context, and Health notes. For services and integration projects you also set Phase (Kickoff through Complete), Execution model (GSI Prime, PS Prime, Joint Delivery, GSI Only), Pricing model, and target/actual go-live dates.
When you link an opportunity to a services-delivery project, the account is derived from that opportunity and locked — change the opportunity to change the account.
The project detail page
The detail page shows a metrics hero band, next steps, and recent activity, with rails for the linked account, partner, project team, and recent partner signals. Editing happens inline on the page (add ?edit=1 to open the editor directly). The Capture activity button pre-fills the project, account, and partner.
Common gotchas
The health field is deliberately your own assessment. If your read differs from the delivery team's or Salesforce's, record it here with specifics in Health notes — that divergence is exactly the signal Triad is built to surface.
The fields you see depend on the type. If you're missing phase or go-live fields, you've likely picked a Joint GTM or Co-marketing type, which don't use them.
FAQ
Why is the account locked on my project?
Because you linked an opportunity. For services-delivery projects the account follows the opportunity. Change or clear the opportunity to set the account independently.
What's the difference between phase and health?
Phase is where the work is in its lifecycle (Kickoff, Build, Go-Live…). Health is your risk read (On Track, At Risk, Escalated…). A project can be mid-Build and At Risk at the same time.
Can I track work that predates Triad?
Yes — leave the opportunity blank for backfill or pre-Triad work. Partner and (for single-account types) account are still required.
