Ask Triad
The conversation where you ask about your partners, get ready for a meeting, and tell Triad what happened
Ask Triad
Ask Triad is the conversation you start with Triad. Open it from Ask Triad at the bottom right of any page, or go to Ask in the app. From a partner's page it opens with that partner as the context.
What you can ask
- About your partners. "Why is Cognizant quiet?", "What's open with Halcyon?", "Which deals moved this month?"
- To get ready. "I have my 1:1 with Dan about Cognizant. Prep me." Triad reads what Dan carries, what is overdue, what he said last, and gives you what to ask him.
- To record what happened. "Dan said he's covering the AXL accounts until January. Record that."
- How Triad works. "How do I import opportunities?"
Nothing is written without you
Reading never needs your approval. Anything that writes shows first as a card with one line saying exactly what it will do, such as "Record on Cognizant: 'Dan is covering the AXL accounts until January.' with Dan Rhodus as participant." Choose Approve and it is done, or Skip and nothing is written. Either way the conversation carries on.
The things Triad can do this way: record a note on a partner, add or close a next step, snooze a chase, add a partner contact, send a draft it placed in the conversation, and suggest a deal rename or outcome for you to accept. It never deletes anything, and never changes a deal, a stage or anything that came from your CRM. A field from your CRM is changed in your CRM; everything else is changed in the Triad app.
Where conversations live
Your conversations are listed on the left, newest first, each titled by what it was about. Open one to pick it up where you left off, on any device. Only you see your own conversations.
From an email
Every brief Triad emails you ends with Open in Triad. It starts a conversation with that email as the context, so you can type what you want to do with it. Replying to the email still works the same way.
