QBR generator

Generate a partner-ready QBR narrative in two minutes

What the QBR generator produces

Triad builds a quarterly business review narrative from your captured quarter: activities, open and closed opportunities, project health, and relationship signals. You choose the partner, quarter, and audience (internal prep vs external-facing tone).

Output includes structured sections you can copy into slides or deliver as a narrative overview, plus a downloadable artifact when generation completes.

Start from the QBRs page

Open QBRs in the sidebar. Click Generate QBR.

Step through the modal: select partner, pick audience (internal or external), and choose the ended quarter. Triad previews what data it will use — activity count, opportunity counts, implementation count, signals — so you can see gaps before you spend a generation.

Submit and wait while the run completes (typically about two minutes). Status updates in the modal; when ready, open the QBR to read sections, copy text, or download.

Prep data before you generate

The QBR is only as complete as the quarter's captures and imports. Before generating:

• Capture major meetings and exec syncs for that partner in-period. • Import or update opportunities so pipeline sections have amounts and stages. • Keep project health current on active implementations.

The preview step shows stale opportunity or project timestamps — use that as a checklist.

Share and reuse

Share links let colleagues or partners read the overview without a Triad login, subject to your sharing settings. Internal QBRs can be frank; external audience tones down language for partner-facing readouts.

You can regenerate for the same quarter if you captured late-arriving meetings — archive or discard the old run if narratives conflict.

Frequently asked questions

Why does preview show zero activities for the quarter?
No captures were saved in that date range for the partner, or activity dates fall outside the quarter boundaries. Re-check activity dates on key records.
Can I edit the generated slides in PowerPoint?
Triad produces narrative sections and downloadable output you can paste or attach. Fine-grained slide design is still yours — the generator removes the blank-page problem.
What's the difference between internal and external audience?
Internal includes frank execution and relationship language suitable for your leadership. External softens phrasing for a partner-facing QBR readout.
Does the QBR pull from Salesforce live?
It uses opportunity and project data in Triad — today that means CSV imports (or data you entered). Native Salesforce integration is on the roadmap.
