Organization settings
Set your workspace identity and fiscal year so AI and rollups are accurate
Settings → Organization (admin-only) is where you set your workspace's identity. These details aren't cosmetic — Triad's AI features and quarterly rollups depend on them.
Fields
- Organization name (required)
- Website
- Industry — e.g. "Customer Experience Platforms, Data Analytics, Healthcare SaaS"
- Fiscal Year Starts — the month your fiscal year begins
- Description — what your company does, including market positioning, product categories, and notable customers. Visible only to your admins and never shown on public artifacts; the AI uses it to ground analysis in your business.
Save shows a brief "✓ Saved" confirmation.
Why these matter
The description gives every AI skill — briefs, scorecards, QBRs, Read the Room — context about who you are, which sharpens their output. The fiscal year start drives every "this quarter" calculation across the dashboard, QBR periods, and partner health. Setting it wrong produces incorrect quarterly rollups.
Common gotchas
Only admins can edit organization settings; members who reach the page see "Only admins can edit organization context settings."
The description is internal — it's used by AI for grounding and is explicitly not shown on shared QBRs or Read the Room links — so you can be candid about positioning and customers.
FAQ
Why does fiscal year start matter?
Triad rolls pipeline and health up by fiscal quarter. If your fiscal year doesn't start in January, set the correct month or "this quarter" numbers will be off.
Who can see the organization description?
Only your admins, and the AI for internal grounding. It never appears on public or shared artifacts.
Can members edit this page?
No — organization settings are admin-only.
