Getting started

Get from signup to your first captured activity in 5 minutes

Create your account and land on the dashboard

Sign up at gettriad.io with your work email and invite code. After you verify email, you land on the Triad dashboard — the morning view across your partnerships: pipeline totals, recent activity, open next steps, and partner relationship signals.

A short onboarding wizard may appear on first login. You can follow it or skip and explore on your own.

Add at least one partner

Triad's intelligence is built on partner relationships. From the onboarding wizard, choose Add a partner to create a single record, or Import partner data if you already have a portfolio in a CRM.

To add manually: open Partners in the sidebar → New partner. Enter the partner name and motion types (GSI, Hyperscaler, ISV, OEM, tech alliance, and others your org uses). Save. You need at least one partner before capture or imports will have nothing to attach to.

Salesforce sync is on the roadmap for Team and Enterprise plans. Today, bulk data comes in via CSV export from your CRM — see Importing data.

Capture your first activity

Go to Capture in the sidebar (or `/activities/capture`). Select the partner, set the activity date, and paste a meeting transcript, voice-to-text dump, or unstructured notes — Triad does not require a template.

Click Decompose. In a few seconds you get a structured draft: activity type, participants, account and opportunity contexts, and bilateral next steps with owners and due dates. Review each field, fix anything the model misread, then Save activity.

Your first saved activity is the foundation for relationship signals, Brief Me, scorecards, and QBRs.

What to do next

Open the activity you just saved to see the full record and optional follow-up tools (draft email, Read the Room on transcripts). Visit the partner page to see pipeline, projects, and relationship rollups as data accumulates.

If you imported opportunities, check Dashboard pipeline tiles and the partner's Co-sell section. Capture a few more meetings over the next week — relationship signals and Brief Me improve with volume.

Common gotchas

Capture requires a selected partner. If your org has no partners yet, add or import one first.

Decompose matches accounts, opportunities, and contacts against what already exists in Triad. Import core CRM objects before capture if you want automatic linking instead of creating records during review.

Email verification is required before the app is fully usable — check spam if the link does not arrive within a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to import data before I can capture?
No. You only need at least one partner. Import is optional and helps decompose link activities to existing accounts and opportunities automatically.
Can my whole team share one login?
Each person should have their own account under your organization. Activities record who captured them; Brief Me and shared artifacts work best when everyone captures into the same org.
What if I skip onboarding?
You can dismiss the wizard and use the sidebar anytime: Partners to add records, Capture for activities, Settings → Data import for CSV (admins only).
Where do I go to capture from a specific partner page?
On any partner detail page, use the Capture activity button — it opens Capture with that partner pre-selected.
